Introduction:

Mechanism of antibacterial action: Because bacterial surfaces carry a negative charge, positively charged silver ions are adsorbed onto the bacterial surface, disrupting the intracellular electrolyte balance and damaging the cell wall, ultimately leading to bacterial death. Once inside the bacterium, silver ions react with and bind to cellular enzymes, inhibiting their activity and thereby preventing bacterial reproduction and regeneration, achieving a bactericidal and sterilizing effect. Simultaneously, highly active ions are released, which attack the bacterial metabolic system, resulting in cell death.
Public spaces with high foot traffic are more prone to the proliferation and transmission of bacteria and viruses, such as subway stations, high-speed rail terminals, airports, shopping malls, hospitals, and exhibition centers. In residential settings, antibacterial aluminum composite panels can be used for wall cladding, ceiling panels, and other decorative surface applications in living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, storage rooms, and other areas.
