Good News | Jinsheng Aluminum Group Wins Bid for Beijing Subway Line 12 Project

Recently, Jinsheng Aluminum Group announced the good news that it has successfully won the bid for Contract Package 02 of the decoration materials procurement project for Beijing Subway Line 12. For many years, Jinsheng Aluminum Group has placed great emphasis on rail transit projects, and securing this contract for Beijing Subway Line 12 represents another significant achievement for the group in the rail transit sector.
Beijing Subway Line 12, also known as the North Third Ring Line, is a major east–west rail transit trunk line that runs through the central urban area. The line serves four administrative districts—Haidian, Xicheng, Dongcheng, and Chaoyang—beginning at Sijiqing Bridge in the west and following the West Fourth Ring Road, Yuanda Road, the North Third Ring Road, Fangyuan West Road, and Dongba Avenue before terminating at Guanzhuang Road West Entrance Station. The total length of the mainline is approximately 29.3 kilometers, all of which is underground. Upon completion, Line 12 will become the primary underground transportation artery along the North Third Ring Road.
The construction of Beijing Subway Line 12 will optimize the city’s transportation structure, alleviate capacity constraints in the rail transit system, and further enhance and densify Beijing’s rail network. By linking multiple north–south rail lines, the new line will help relieve traffic pressure in the central urban area. It will provide transfer connections at 14 stations with 12 existing north–south lines, including Lines 4, 5, and 8, thereby improving the overall accessibility and connectivity of the rail network. Through integrated transport development at key stations in the central district, the project will introduce underground pedestrian underpasses in interchange areas, facilitate north–south through-traffic on major urban arteries, create a convenient and safe pedestrian network, and elevate the quality of public transportation services. At the same time, the initiative will promote integrated development between the rail network and the Dongba area, spurring rapid urban growth.
